Snip Tools is a freeware helper and solver for Killer and Jigsaw Sudokus. If you like the Killer variant, but you're not really into all those calculations, you may find Snip Tools a very useful tool. It keeps track of cage sums and digit combinations that are allowed. Candidates are maintained by the program, but you can always intervene. It is one of the few programs that allows you to enter and solve Jigsaw Killer Sudokus. What's new in this version: Version 1.42 fixed bug where Snip Tools failed to save the file with %url% variable if the Web site URL specified a port number. Snip Tools does have an appealing user interface, but the panel-style design wasn't as easy to navigate as it appeared. You'll find a tree menu on the left side of the window for selecting Snip Tools. The center panel lists individual Snip Tools within a folder, and the right panel previews the image. Some testers never got that far, getting error messages that the program's Snip Tools were corrupt.
