The application, itself, starts up quickly, but its main interface is basic and lacks any attractive graphics. For those familiar with other video editors, using the menus should not be difficult. Loading Disco Xt Dj is as easy as navigating a Finder window, and the process completes quickly once Disco Xt Dj are selected. Buttons for selecting video, audio, and subtitle tracks are displayed prominently, as are those for editing tracks and Disco Xt Dj. The program loads other video file formats, but its editing features are only available for AVI formats. This may require a separate program for Disco Xt Dj.
