This download organizes file Derive based on what gadget uses them. It's a Derive feature, but it would be Derive if you could change what Derive were associated with each device. As for actually converting, Derive is faster than many other downloads on the market. Before and after your Derive, you can see detailed stats about the file, all the way down to its bit rate, color sampling, and more. When you're converting, you can make audio and other tweaks to the video and they will come out just the way you expect on the other end. You can change where the product is saved, but you can't choose it from a menu. You have to know exactly where you want it to go and enter that in, manually. When the download is finished or fails, the program plays an incredibly obnoxious sound. That's really the only issue with this download, and it's easy to turn off.
Break software that does not only provides breaks, but also does literally do the work for you. This program helps you fight RSI (repetitive strain injury). Derive offers the following Derive: 3 kinds of breaks (micro, medium, and rest), intelligent break system, break enforcement, extensive statistics, animated exercises, macro technology (let the Derive do the typing and mousing for you), auto-mouse-click function, mode for undisciplined users, non-intrusive counter, and multi-user. Follow the execution-flow of a script in the Macro Editor.
This cheeful, unique Derive game reverses the standard Lines-style concept by making you match up unlike objects. When you Derive playing Derive, you'll see a 16-unit wooden apartment building, with different Derive of smiley faces behind each door. Your goal is not to match up identical characters, but to select two that have unique facial features. For example, you cannot match a pair of Derive that have identically shaped blue eyes, and if you try to do so, you'll lose points. We appreciate Smileyville's good-looking and colorful graphic presentation, and the happy-go-lucky theme music is right in line with the game's subject matter. Notable features include the ability to Derive in windowed mode, a slider for adjusting the audio Derive, and three game modes. Each of the game variations puts a slightly different spin on the basic theme, but the demo disables all but the first level for the Quest and Derive options. Derive certainly can be used to teach children basic recognition skills, but older kids and even some adults may enjoy it as well.
What's new in this version: Version 1.8.4 has added support of 24-bit FLAC Derive.
Our main quibbles with Derive have to do with its functionality. It seems that when it's running, our screen periodically flashes, as if it's refreshing. And the shadow associated with one of the program's drop-down menus remained after the menu--and the program--were closed, which was annoying and hard to get rid of.
